Dear Students,

#1- Please read all of the announcements if you didn't already.

#2- Third week's lecture notes and Quiz (for Gr 2) has been posted. You can find them at your Moodle accounts.

#3- I can see that almost everybody is now on Moodle, however only half of these are enrolled to the lectures. You have to enroll to your lecture group in order to have access to your lecture resources and to be able to submit your assignments (homeworks, etc) via Moodle. Please understand well that; creating an account for Moodle and enrolling to a course are two different things, and you have to do both.

Feb. 22, 2018:

Dear Students,

#1- You did receive an error message about sending an e-mail while creating an account at Moodle. Please do not bother yourself. If you get this message, it means that you have already created an account. This is not a problem.

#2- Moodle cannot send e-mails for now. I will work on it. Still, it doesn’t change anything.

#3- So, once I confirm your applications, you will be able to log in to the Moodle platform. Yet, you will not have access to the lecture resources. You have to enroll to your lecture group in order to have access to your lecture resources and to be able to submit your assignments (homeworks, etc) via Moodle. Please understand well that; creating an account for Moodle and enrolling to a course are two different things, and you have to do both.

#4- I have extended the deadline for the first Homework until 11.59 pm Friday, this week.

#5- Please follow the website for new announcements on daily basis. I strongly suggest you to look at it at least, before and after the lectures and on weekends. If you may encounter a problem, please look at the announcements for any solution, before sending me an e-mail. And please don’t send me messages via my phone number. I am not sharing my personal phone number with you, because, I don’t want you to reach at me by using this path. If you have something very urgent, that is acceptable but nothing more.

#6- Starting from next week I will lecture in English as in last semester. That is coming from the department, so I cannot do anything about it. Please do not insist for Turkish. But as in last semester, I will explain the key points and example solutions in Turkish besides English.

#7- Please and please follow my announcements at ahmetkirli.com. I will post anything there and I will share anything from Moodle.

Feb. 15, 2018:

Step 2: Wait for the lecturer to confirm your application.

Step 3: Enroll to MKT2142 Mechanics of Material Gr1 or Gr2 due to your group. You will not have access to the lecture resources unless you enroll to your course.

#2 About HOMEWORK 1:

You can submit the homework at the next lecture as in printed hardcopy or you can submit it via MOODLE as in digital pdf file. I would rather you to use MOODLE in submitting your first homework.
